| MUSIC AND POETRY EVENING |
 |
We were delighted when Mr Simon Boyle, Lord Lieutenant for Gwent, accepted our invitation to become Honorary President of 'Friends of Bridges'.
We were pleased to welcome him, together with Mrs Catriona Boyle, to a very pleasant evening spent in the Ballroom and Gallery when Friends invited Volunteers to a reception. A large audience thoroughly enjoyed the Music and Poetry kindly provided by Diane Sillman and Jeanne Dauncey. Diane's songs were accompanied on the piano by Colwyn Sillman.
Delicious food and the opportunity to meet one another contributed to a most enjoyable evening.

| FRIENDS MOVE AHEAD |
|
Friends' held a most enjoyable Summer Garden Party at New Grove Farm, Trellech on June 8 by kind invitation of Pam and Peter Lloyd.
For once this year it was a lovely summer evening and with great jazz played by Atmospheric Jazz and delicious food, a good time was had by all. We are very grateful to Pam and Peter for their hospitality and also for arranging for such a great jazz group to attend! There are now over a hundred 'Friends' and if you would like to join us, please let us know - 01600 715638. |
