The Bridges Tea Room is the perfect place to take a break, meet with friends, and enjoy a drink or snack.

The wood panelling and carvings here were lovingly crafted hundreds of years ago. Today, the staff prepare and serve food for our customers with equal care and dedication.

The Tea Room is managed by Jane White, who brings her years of experience and excellent reputation in catering to Bridges.   The emphasis is on providing good quality food at reasonable prices, using the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. There is a daily special on
offer as well as the usual soups, baguettes, jacket potatoes etc. Home made cakes are a particular speciality and are on offer every day.

Bridges Tea Room is only a minute's walk from town, and an oasis of calm and relaxation.

The Tea Room is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day, and will open at other times according to demand.

Jane White is also the official functions caterer for Bridges, providing high quality food for anything from a business lunch or breakfast to a wedding reception for 200. guests.
